WAWT Terms of Service

Last updated: [date to be filled in when published]

Welcome to WAWT (heywawt.com), operated by Conceptrex Pte Ltd (UEN: 202423719C) (“we,” “us,” “our”), based in Singapore. By using WAWT, you agree to these terms.

1. What WAWT is

WAWT is a neighbourhood merchant discovery platform. We help customers find local shops and merchants — what's open, what's nearby, and what's worth the trip — and give merchants a way to reach customers in their area. WAWT is a discovery and communication layer; we are not a party to any transaction between you and a merchant, and we don't process payments on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use WAWT. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Accounts

Customerssign up to follow shops, save favourites, and personalise their experience. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Merchantscan claim an existing shop listing or register a new one. Claiming a business means you're representing that you're authorised to manage that listing. We review claims manually before granting access, and we may ask for verification. We reserve the right to reject or revoke a claim if we believe it's fraudulent or unauthorised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Merchant content

If you're a merchant, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit (business description, hours, photos, posts). By submitting content, you grant WAWT a licence to display it on the platform as part of your public shop listing. You confirm you have the right to submit any photos or content you upload.

We may remove or edit listed information that's inaccurate, misleading, or violates these terms.

6. Accuracy of information

We try to keep information (like “open now” status) accurate, but it's based on data provided by merchants or inferred from posted hours, and may occasionally be wrong. Always confirm directly with a merchant for anything time-sensitive or important (e.g. before travelling somewhere specifically because it says “open now”).

7. No liability for merchant transactions

Any purchase, booking, or interaction you have with a merchant found through WAWT is between you and that merchant. We're not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any such transaction.

8. Third-party links and services

WAWT may link out to third-party services (e.g. Google Maps for directions, a merchant's own website). We're not responsible for the content or practices of those third-party sites.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

WAWT is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can stop using WAWT and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use WAWT after changes means you accept the updated terms.
